Why?
Our vision is to explain a reliable and effective essay writing method. This passion came from the industry’s lack of innovation, GAMSAT preparation companies haven’t changed their essay writing formula’s and plans for years. The industry as a whole tends to emphasise mass-produced quantities of learning materials, filling in a cookie-cutter prototype for all students to follow. Myself, and many others, have fallen victim to this outdated approach, unable to achieve consistent and effective results. Here at Mindsat, we pride ourselves on attacking this norm, we are in an endless cycle of updating our books to harbor the newest information available for each GAMSAT sitting. There are 4 steps that set us apart from our competitors.
Now in its 5th edition of printing, we believe we have created a refined study resource, this is reflected in our industry-leading results and high student satisfaction ratings.

Step 1: Research
The information and evidence included within our essay guides are constantly refreshed and updated. Based on feedback from current students, effective philosophy and evidence that appealed to examiners continue to be kept within our books, this has helped us refine our essay guides to consistently produce good results. Over time, we are constantly researching new evidence and ideas that can be incorporated in the GAMSAT Section II, much of this comes from analysing dense philosophy texts and filtering out the relevant information.
Step 2: Discussion
After collating information, a group of 5 top scoring students (75+ SII) begin discussion of how to best extrapolate the information. This process filters down much of our research content. We understand that many of our students lead busy lives, unable to completely read and synthesise many philosophy textbooks, therefore, we help create summaries, quote banks and sample essays and place them within our book to assist our students.

Step 3: Test
No new evidence is added without extensive testing. A captivating piece of evidence can usher in amazing results with ease, or create a paradoxical sense of overconfidence. In providing new pieces of information within our essay guides, we make sure never to let our egos get in the way of results. To pass our test, all new pieces of philosophical evidence must be applied to 100+ different topics to make sure it is versatile and useable. We are confident to claim that all pieces of evidence and example within our essay guides have been rigorously tested, and can be applied to any topic coming up on the GAMSAT exam.
Step 4: Repeat
We are constantly in a cycle of introspection. While we are immensely proud of the work we have accomplished, we are constantly seeking new avenues for improvement. We value and take feedback seriously. Like the students that consume our content, we are also striving for greatness.
